I know I know… You’ll tell me “Hey! What’s up with the Game? Shouldn’t you be posting the unknown words?” Well… The answer is “Yes I should have!” However, for my defense, the book was so good, that I couldn’t stop to look for the words, I wanted to know more!!! Which is a good point for the book, maybe not a good one for my vocabulary extension… I’ll maybe post some words, sometimes. But for that I had to get a new book, so I bought the first novel of the same author.

Two days ago, one of my boss told me that I should improve my english, in order to get the job that I asked for. Hmmm ok, why not… So I decided that I would read much more english books, and I would write down and translate all the words that I don’t understand. Honestly I already tried that before, but after some pages, I was just fed up. Soooo this time I’ll try to keep it up !! If some of you want to add comments or advise me very good books, just go on…
Previously I mentioned that I wanted to have an English and German version of the site. However my programming skills, and my time does not allows me to provide such a site. But on the other hand, some friends of mine wants to hear from me in English or German. So for Markus in Zurich, and Julie in San José I’ll post sometimes in E. or G.
Lately, I was re-organizing my time and wanted to improve my way of sleeping. I found an interesting item: A phase sleep clock. This clock analyzes, via a wristband sensor, your sleep phase and wake you up at the appropriate time. It’s quite pricey and something is missing. A nice improvement would be to have the ability to vibrate in the wristband to wake you up individually, without bothering anyone else.
Interested in becoming an early riser (yeah I know…) I was surfing and I found several pages on the subject and a subject on the polyphasic sleep. This technique consists of 20 minutes nap every 3 to 4 hours. I heard this was the way sailors were sleeping to recover sleep faster. Nevertheless, without taking in account that you have to be single to do this experiment (or if you want to get divorced) this techniques is very difficult to exercise.
My main concern is that I didn’t really check on which website I was when I was reading this… I was on the webpage of Steve Pav…. I won’t link it for the following reasons: This guy is posting a lot about self development, but the way it’s done it’s rather strange, it looks more like a business. On each page you can donate (paypal, even check and Visa!). Ok if he wants to make money that’s his right. But I was starting to feel uncomfortable. For the finishing touch, there was quite an amount of link to his wife’s website, who is a medium… (ahhhhhhh ok
I seeeeeee) If you are interested she gives predictions through e-mail … Well whatever, I won’t advertise more on this couple. That’s their right to make money, but that’s my right to say that to my opinion there’s something strange with this method. Voila that’s all for today…
Oh yeah, as a conclusion I can say that my motivation in improving my sleep was reconsidered
I decided to rise earlier (not extremely early) and without staying in bed. It has to be an automatism. I tried the polyphasic sleep, maybe my will is not strong enough or maybe I still care of my social life
for this. So I’ll stick to the good old-fashioned monophasic sleep.
Be careful with comments, I sent a mail to have some predictions done!
